We are pleased to inform that GlobaleventAsia will be organizing a Techno-Financial Modelling for Accountants Made Easy – New Program in Market 2014  on 13th August 2014 at Vistana Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
The aim of this 1 Day Workshop for CEOs, Directors and Senior Management is to gain an insight of the Techno-Financial Model (no computing involved). It is also to inculcate cost consciousness amongst directors and senior and middle management facing heavy responsibilities in a borderless world and to expose them to the many uses of Techno-Financial Model in considering different Technology or Product options that could optimise returns. This (TFM) can also be used as construction budget and O&M (post construction) budget. This workshop will equip participants with practical tools & techniques, to construct the Techno-Financial Model. This can be used in their own areas of project planning, control of construction cost (construction budget) and operation and management (post construction). Engineering Finance can be described as the ‘bridge’ that bridges the gap between “Engineering” and “Finance” to structure a cost-efficient project design/plan that is financially viable. Techno-Financial Model (TFM) is the tool for Engineering Finance.
This Engineering Finance methodology could also be used to evaluate the impact of “Technology” and “Product” changes on the IRR, i.e. financial viability. It can also be used to identify the project’s Critical Component (CCA) that could undermine the viability of the project.
